The Tekoa Trestle is now under construction! Work has begun on decking this trestle which stretches high over the town of Tekoa on the far eastern section of the PTCT. The trestle is about 976 feet long and about 80 feet above the valley below. Work has been delayed due to supply issues for the railings. But the decking is mostly complete. Tekoa has long been the end of the PTCT for many travelers. But there is a now side road route going east which connects with the Trail of the Cour d’Alenes in Idaho.
